Who sends this
Fare Hunter sends these messages. Write to contact@chasseurdevols.ca. The descriptor that may appear on a statement is CHASSEURVOLS.
The service
The service watches fares departing Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, and Quebec City, and sends alerts. A watched trip is a request such as “Montreal → Lisbon in March, under $600.”
Prices in the archive are the alert fares, in Canadian dollars. They may have changed before you book.
Plans
Free: a sample of deals, sent later, with no watched trips.
Hunter: $5.99 per month or $49 per year. You get every deal, instant alerts, and three watched trips.
Founding offer: $39 per year for the first 500 spots. The price stays $39 on every renewal while the subscription is not cancelled. A cancelled spot cannot be reclaimed once the 500 spots are gone.
These are the only paid plans. Watched departures are from the city chosen at signup: Montreal (YUL), Toronto (YYZ), Vancouver (YVR), Calgary (YYC), Ottawa (YOW), or Quebec City (YQB).
Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. Until the business is registered for GST and QST, no tax is added at checkout.
Renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews until you cancel. You can cancel, switch between monthly and yearly, and update the card in the Stripe customer portal. The portal locale is French (fr-CA) when Stripe allows it.
30-day refund
If the service is not for you, write to contact@chasseurdevols.ca within 30 days of payment. We refund the current period manually from the Stripe dashboard. After that window, the period already started is not refunded.
Commercial email is sent only if you tick the consent box, which is never pre-ticked. Every message names the sender, gives a mailing address, and includes an unsubscribe link. Withdrawal is honoured within 10 business days.
Signup also asks you to confirm by email (double opt-in) once the sending tool is connected.
Limit
Alerts are fare indications, not an offer of carriage. Booking is with the airline or an agency. To the extent Quebec law allows, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Quebec.
